1. I am reading AS Byatt's 'The Children's Book' - it combines a whole range of my interests past and present: children's literature (my MLitt 1979-1986), Art Nouveau (Vienna and Budapest 1992-1996), and Romney Marsh (1997-2010). It either shows that I am a child of the zeitgeist or that I am completely original. Or possibly that I am AS Byatt!
2. Maybe I should turn my seaweed book into a children's book...
3. Stories I should finish: C reminded me about the one about my doctor and his orchids (case about to go to court); and the TV reminded me about the one about Ooty (Nilgiri Hills glimpsed in a Gordon Ramsay programme last night). Maybe I should take these hints
